Run + DIY Workshop
A pre-race activation connecting Oruzu with local BIPOC brands, artists, and businesses the day before TSP 2026. A meditation, 5K shakeout run, Altra x Pleasures Experience Flow 3 demo, and a DIY uniform decorating workshop with live vehicle art installation at Secret Walls HQ.
Presented by Hakim Tafari. A grounding session to center the team before race day through breathwork, intention setting, and mental preparation for 340 miles.
Easy-pace group run from Secret Walls HQ where the entire team laces up in the new Altra x Pleasures Experience Flow 3. A chance to shake out the legs, bond as a team, and showcase the collab shoe on foot. Alex James (Pleasures) to be confirmed.
Presented by OCD Cleaners. Each team member customizes their North Face race gear. Stations include:
Painters tape art on the team RV and Sprinter vans. Bold, temporary, and completely removable. A TSP tradition elevated through LA street art.
DIY uniform decorating workshop presented by OCD Cleaners, an LA-based upcycled streetwear brand by Isaiah Bond. No printed uniforms. No factory runs. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, made by hand, by the team. This is a pilot for future event activations. Carried by Bodega and Sneaker Politics.
Custom airbrush designs on team apparel including freehand lettering, gradients, and graphic work.
Hand-operated chain stitch machines for permanent, high-quality embroidered lettering and patches on gear.
Pre-cut Oruzu and TSP stencils paired with Rust-O and Bukake Paint aerosol alongside Posca markers. Bold graphics that are hand decorated and completely one of a kind.
TSP has a long history of teams decorating their vehicles with painters tape. We want to take it up a notch by using our vehicles as live art presentations. We reached out to Love Crew, a local LA art collective, to create the installation across all three team vehicles.
